Testing of Time stamps

For its potential clients, I.CA provides the testing of the issuance of a time authority for free for a period of one month. Subsequent testing is governed by an individual agreement.

Procedure for Acquisition of Authentication Tools and Access to the Testing Time Authority

  • Installation of TSS certificates. If you decide to test, these certificates will be sent to you.
  • Acquisition of a commercial certificate issued upon an on-line application for a certificate . The process of issuance of the testing certificate is automatic and the certificate is sent in the zip form to the applicant’s e-mail address indicated in the application. The lifetime of this certificate is one month. In the case of long-term testing, a testing commercial certificate with a longer lifetime will be issued to you upon agreement.
  • Even in the case of authentication by username and password, a testing I.CA commercial certificate is necessary (see above for the procedure of its acquisition). The username is defined by I.CA and the password is chosen and modified by the client. It is necessary to provide the client with a special link for the creation and modification of the password, which may be sent upon request along with instructions.
  • In the case of authentication by a static IP address, the address must be sent by e-mail to: tsa@ica.cz.
  • At the same time, it is important to send I.CA the identification of the company (name, ID No., VAT ID No., registered office) and contact information (name, e-mail address).
  • Settings on the part of the client applying for a testing time stamp

The testing device is intended only for the verification of the possibility of issuing a time stamp from multiple servers of the time authority. It is not possible to use it for stress tests.
