10/3/2023		Meeting of the company I.CA with the bank representatives On September 21 and 22, 2023, the Park Holiday hotel in Prague-Benice took place the XV. year of the traditional meeting of the I.CA company with representatives of banks from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The main topics of the conference were again news from the field of legislation, along with new and upcoming I.CA services. The legislative part was devoted not only to the upcoming eIDAS2 legislation and the eWallet issue, but also to practical issues of the use of electronic signatures in the presentation "Electronic signatures in legal practice" by Radovan Kubáč, from the law firm Nedelka Kubáč advokáti s.r.o. Another interesting topic in this area was the presentation "Digital continuity and the possibilities of its maintenance" by Jiří Peterka. Within the conference, the technical topics "Quantum threat and quantum-resistant cryptography" were also presented by Bohuslav Rudolf from NUKIB and "Cryptography using elliptic curves" by Tomáš Rosa from Raiffeisenbank. Banking issues were addressed by the presentation "Activities of the Czech Banking Association" by Tomáš Hládek from the Czech Banking Association, as well as the traditionally inspiring presentation "Abuse of electronic banking services" by Tomáš Rosa from Raiffeisenbank. I.CA representatives introduced the conference participants to new services in the field of verification of electronic signatures and long-term storage of documents containing an electronic signature. We would like to thank everyone who attended this conference and we believe that the joint meeting was a great benefit for all parties. Confirmation is on the one hand the favourable evaluations of the participants, but especially the substantive discussion on individual presentations. The 16th edition of the meeting will take place again in September 2024 and we believe that it will be as successful as this year's.
