5/27/2022		Conference I.CA "Implementation of PKI in practice VIII.“ On April 27, 2022, the traditional conference I.CA - Implementation of PKI in practice, 8th year, took place.
The main topics of the conference were the planned change in EU legislation, the revision of the eIDAS Regulation - eIDAS 2. The reasons for the revision, the proposed changes as well as the impacts on clients and trust service providers were mentioned. A separate presentation was devoted to the upcoming eWallet service. In the next part, new I.CA services were presented, namely I.CA RemoteSign with new functionalities, I.CA PKI Service, I.CA LTA service and news in the field of smart cards. As usual, the conference also included external contributions. The first presentation was the presentation of Ing. Michal Pešek, Administration of Basic Registers, on the current state of the NIA. This was followed by a presentation by Filip Bílek, Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, on the topic of Qualified providers of trust-building services in the Czech Republic. In the end, it was a presentation by Michal Hanzal, Sefira, on the topic of implementing the I.CA RemoteSign service into the Obelisk Signing Portal solution. We thank all the participants and we believe that the whole conference was beneficial for them. For I.CA, the success of the conference represents a great commitment for next year.
