In order for the registration authority to be able to issue a commercial certificate during its visit, it is necessary to submit the documents indicated below. More detailed information on the required documents can be found in the Certification Policy for the Field of Commercial Certificates.

VALIDITY OF DOCUMENTS

  • Evidence of Company Existence - The document may not be older than six months; in the case of entities registered in the Commercial Register of the Czech Republic or in the Trade Register, it is not necessary to submit this document (the document is available in electronic form on the website of the Ministry of Justice or the Ministry of Industry and Trade and can be obtained directly at the registration authority I.CA).
  • Document confirming the existence of employment - the document must be signed by a person with the right to act as the relevant employer; the document always specifies the name, surname and position of the authorized person - the statutory representative; this confirmation may be in electronic form in PDF format with an electronic signature based on a qualified certificate of the authorized person with the right to act as the relevant employer. Confirmation must be carried on a portable medium, such as a USB flash drive;
  • Proof of relationship to the company - if the applicant is not employed by the company and requests that the company name be included in its commercial certificate, it attests to the company's power of attorney;
  • University Diploma – mandatory item of application "Full Applicant Name" may include the full name of the applicant, including titles, as specified in his / her primary personal document. If the title in the primary personal document is not listed, a diploma must be provided stating that the applicant has the right to use the title.

NEGOTIATIONS ON BEHALF OF

If an applicant for a certificate is represented by an agent during the negotiations with the I.CA registration authority, the above documents must be accompanied by:

  • the agent’s national identity card or password,
  • proof of the right to act as an agent; - The signatures „Principal’s” on the Power of Attorney must be officially verified,
  • the original or certified copy of the identity card or the applicant's passport; Please note that certified copies of personal documents cannot be filed in the Czech Republic.
