Instructions for setting of the PAdES B-B signature format

It is an advanced electronic signature according to eIDAS, PAdES: B-B format (that means the electronic signature does not contain a nested Time Stamp) and usage of signature certificate on the qualified signature device (for example smart card) is not required. 

After opening Adobe Reader application, click on “Menu” button and select “Preferences”. A new window will be open (see below). In the left column choose the option “Signatures” and in the field Creation &  Appearance click on “More…”.

According to the picture bellow, click on Default Signing Format and select CAdES-Equivalent from the list. Click on the “OK” button and now everything is set up.
