  1. The issuance of electronic time stamps is governed by the current Time stamp Issuance Policy.
  2. Decide in what manner you want to use the service (a combination of the approaches is also possible):
    1. Via the I.CA QTSA application for the Windows environment, which is provided by I.CA for free. The application makes it possible to acquire a time stamp for a particular document or file. It is therefore suitable for situations where time stamps are required individually by a particular user  installation and setup (PDF)
    2. By integrating libraries supplied by I.CA in your own system and automating the use of the service. The libraries are available for the Windows and Unix environments and are provided upon request.
    3. By own specification of a data structure provided by a trusted I.CA time authority. This use requires knowledge of the standard applicable to time stamps, which, among other things, defines the data structure of a time stamp (RFC 3161)
    4. By means of a set of line clients for Windows (C platform, Java), provided upon request.

  3. Contact I.CA at the address tsa@ica.cz. If you can at least approximately estimate the number of electronic time stamps you intend to purchase within a calendar month or quarter, please include your estimation as well. After subsequent negotiations with our company, you will be given a draft contract including quotation for your planned purchase of qualified time stamps.
  4. After the signing of the contract, an I.CA commercial certificate will be issued to you (if you do not own it yet), and you will then use the certificate for authentication during routine purchases of electronic time stamps.
  5. The service will then be made available to you in the mode you have chosen.
  6. Another variant, the use of Time authority, it is possible to order a complex package of services I.CA Start, I.CA Classic, I.CA Business. They always include a package of the pre-selected number of qualified time stamps (300, 500 or 1,000 time stamps), along with a commercial and qualified certificate (TWINS). According to the chosen variant, the package also includes a secure data repository (a smart card and a reader, or a plug-in smart card and a USB token), as well as a license for the I.CA Secom PDF user application for the creation of an electronic signature.
