První certifikační autorita, a.s. (I.CA) was established on the firm grounds of top worldwide and national know-how and a team of quality professionals in the field of security technologies and certification authorities. It began to provide its services in 1996 as a part of the product portfolio of PVT, a.s. It gradually outgrew the boundaries of the project, and at the beginning of 2001, a subsidiary company of PVT, a.s., named První certifikační autorita, a.s, was founded. The company took over all the activities that are related to the provision of certification services from the holding company.
