Aktualizace důvěryhodných kořenových certifikačních uřadů produktu Microsoft Internet Explorer z oficiálních stránek společnosti Microsoft

2. srpna 2008, 11.04

Aktualizaci důvěryhodných kořenových certifikačních uřadů produktu Microsoft Internet Explorer (tzn. zařazení kořenových certifikátů I.CA do tohoto produktu) z oficiálních stránek společnosti Microsoft lze provést jednou z níže uvedených  možností:

1. standarní Windows Update (Root Update package) – v případě, že nové kořenové certifikáty I.CA nejsou pomocí Windows Update automaticky staženy, je nutno provést ruční vymazání cache CRL. Postup pro vymazání cache CRL je následující :

Postup pro Windows XP:

a. Vymazat obsah adresáře %Appdata%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache (včetně podadresářů)

b. Z Internet Exploreru (IE) vybrat  Tools/Internet Options/Content/Certificates (resp. Nástroje/Možnosti Internetu/Obsah/Certifikáty), poté vymazat (odstranit) nový kořenový certifikát I.CA (pokud jste jej již ručně do IE zavedli) z Trusted Root Certificate store (resp. Důvěryhodné kořenové certifikační úřady).

c. restartovat všechny instance Internet Exploreru

  
Postup pro Windows Vista:

a. Vymazat vše (včetně podadresářů) v adresáři C:\Users\[username]\Appdata\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache

b. Vymazat (odstranit) nový kořenový certifikát I.CA (pokud jste jej již ručně zavedli) pomocí Microsoft Management Console s modulem Certifikáty z promtu Vista, Start/Run/certmgr.msc (resp. Start/Spustit/ certmgr.msc).

c. restartovat všechny instance Internet Exploreru

 

2. pomocí katalogu Windows -  vyhledáním „Root Update”, stažením nejnovějšího Root Certificate Update (uvolněný v květnu 2008) a následnou instalací (Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista).
